Mar 13th 2010 Everyone should definitely come see Oso Closo tomorrow night (SAT) at the Boiler Room. This may be our last show, click the link for details.
There are some changes happening with Oso Closo. Adrian is pulling back from playing live to work on a solo project. Meanwhile the remaining four of us have started a new band (as yet unnamed) based around songs that Danny and I have been writing and jamming for the last couple of months. As much as Adrian has been desiring to move in his own direction, we have been itching to bring our own songs and voices into the world. So this change is totally amicable and mutual, and we are all super excited about what’s to come.
The new band will be taking over Oso Closo’s calendar after tomorrow night’s NX35 show at the Boiler Room. The first show will be an official SXSW showcase Wednesday March 17 at 10:00 PM at Valhalla in Austin, TX. Until we figure out the band name and set up everything on the internet we’ll keep spreading information through Oso Closo’s avenues.
So basically, the NX35 will probably be the last Oso Closo show for a while, so come on out!
